Subject: Re: nearly embarassing non-newbie newbie rear hatch lock question

When I purchased my 88 Westy the power locks did not work in the passenger door and the rear hatch. My problem was broken wires. Check for power at the lock motor wires. I have found many elecrical problems caused by the wires being too short. Over time they stress and break. The rear hatch wires go above the sink and stove. When I dug mine out they were broken at a connector from being stretched too tight. Bob Wing
