Hmm, I guess I'll have to turn my list mail back on so I can find out what people are saying about me!

But of course I’m an amazing person! :-) Even though I can't manage to keep that web site updated. Writings and photos about six weeks of travels in eastern Canada are in the works - then a little about heading down the east coast, then it's going to END! Because I'm moving out of Matilda and into my house in Arlington Virginia, at least for a while. And I'm not going to bore cyberspace at large with ongoing posts about living in suburban Washington.

Matilda will stay with me (in answer to various people who've asked if I'm going to sell her - how could I sell such a good friend?!!). I'm going to do some work on the house, do some other work, probably go back overseas for two months this fall (work), and then figure out what to do next. Maybe sell the house and move back into Matilda? I dunno.

Anyone who's passing through the DC area is more than welcome to come and visit. But bring your van - at the moment I don't exactly have much furniture in my house, so you'll need to bring your own sleeping space! I do, however, have a nice hot shower and a washing machine, both of which I've found are very welcome when on the road.

Joy
