We headed NW from Richmond and did mostly I-81 and 522 and backroads to Paw Paw. Strolled the famous tunnel, then mostly along the Potomac exploring. Camped at Spring Gap (had the entire campground to ourselves!) and Fort Frederick. The worst hills were on 144 and Scenic 40.

Saw one VW van on the way up (bay Westy southbound on I-81) and a Eurovan passenger van on the way home.
