Sam, Thanks for the information. To everyone, you were very helpful.

I pulled my gas tank down, and found one of the coolant lines had frozen and burst some winter back. As you recall I'm restoring an 85 Vanagon GL. There was also a place on the passenger side where somebody hit something in the curve down place before it turns into the engine compartment. I cut it there, and pulled the split piece out from the front. I have examined the pipe it seems in almost like new shape, inside and out. I think I can braze the pipe, force out the flattened place to allow more flow, and put back on with a hose and 4 clamps.

the gas tank, the top grommets are bad of course, and the small vent hoses. The cross over, appears to be in good shape as does the tank itself, which I washed out really good a bit ago. The fuel inlet pipe grommet on the side of the tank, I could not find listed on EKTA, the picture was there part 7 if I recall, but that page only went to 6..? I saw the kit at Busdepot,. $86.00 I don't need all that, and I can hunt most of it down locally, I think.? Any better ideas...on anything except take it to a shop..lol..?
