Supposedly not ...... but if you have doubts, you can get a piece of standard black house window screen molding - it's round and holds the screen in place - soap it or spray with silicone - some say use WD40 - and using one of those screen installing tools - simply roll/force the plastic into the space where the chrome molding was.
