Hi all,
I have an 80 Westie (‘Rusty’) and have several issues with the locks. The passenger door can’t be opened with a key anymore – I’m assuming it’s work tumblers / disks, the side door and drivers door are usually pretty good but can get touchy depending on which of our 3 keys are used and the back door can be a fifteen minute fiddling to lock or unlock.
Anyone have any experience taking the cylinders out and fixing them? I don’t really want to replace less than all the locks so I can still have one key for everything not do I want to replace all of them – figuring it’s bound to be pricey even if I can find a good set.
Idears?
Thanks,
Eric
