I thought Kookie was Ed Byrnes-("Kookie, Kookie, let me comb your hair?") the original "Fonzie" before Happy Days/American Graffiti?. I do remember Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. was the head detective. Connie ?????? was the blonde bimbo. Didn't Kookie drive a 32 ford hot rod?
