Hey Joy;
It sounds like a great idea. It would be a great route for me to go home
after we all meet at BusFusion 2007 at Almonte, ON.
Who wants to follow (or lead)??

I just did a google search and found this:
http://tlhwy.com/central/index.html
It's 1130 kms one day from Baie Comeau to Goose Bay, so probably less than 3
weeks. But from Goose Bay it's the ferry to Cartwright, and I don't know
how long the road is from Cartwright to Red Bay. From Red Bay it's only
around 60 miles (paved) to Blanc Sablon and the ferry to Newfoundland.
Of course there's also the option of taking the coast boat from Goose Bay up
to the outports to the north, as far as Nain. That's not a car ferry, and
it's a few days to Nain. But I discovered that I get seasick, I might not
really want to spend that long on a ferry!

:::Yes, I checked with Derek Drew on how long that trip would take (he
