I've done it two ways way back when Go Westy was not in existance!: 1) velcro with a small tab screwed into the sidewall of the van and the mate sewed to the top and hem of the curtain; and 2) spring curtain rods. By far if you want an inexpensive yet nice looking product the spring rods (found at any hardware store for cheap) work great. Like the bungie idea but you don't have the bulky end (unless of course you cut that off). The springs screw into the sidewall like the stock rods and have built in loops for that, and are flexible in terms of horizontal and vertical... so you can stretch them a bit to achieve the right horizontal length. You can install a second rod on the bottom and that makes the curtain hug the sidewall. My 2 cents... Compare the price of materials with purchasing the stock looking kit... tastes and preferences dictate! I have never had curtains in my bus - so the GF recently purchase material and I am wondering the best way to mount the darn things in the van?
