All, I am considering restoration of an early 70's Superbeetle a friend is wanting to offload... I have a couple old air cooled engines available to me as well, so I have lots of engine parts and stuff to go thru. Been sitting for years...though its a Florida vehicle so I don't think the pan is going to be too much of a concern... What are some of the things I need to consider on whether or not to embark upon this project? Are parts easier to get for these little beasts? I am considering dumping a newer vehicle I have in its stead (creature comforts, who needs em) Is it practical to consider one of these a daily driver?
