Hi all. Hopefully this is easier to read  :)


I'm rebuilding the clutch housing on my 81 AC Westy
and could use some direction/help.


Stripped pivot bolt: I haven't worked w/aluminum
before. Is tapping, or Heli-coil best?


Clutch Lever + slave cyl. bracket were rubbing with
wear near openings for rel. shaft. Poss. reasons.
Bushings/circlip worn, bent bracket, incorrect shaft
assembly. New parts should resolve this. But....


To ensure parts don't rub, is bending bracket "in"
toward tranny a little, a bad idea?
