Well, no one else got me to move out of Matilda - it was my decision to stop traveling for a while, and I think it's the right decision. At least for a while.

But it's still a real culture shock. Of course it's only been three days! And now that I've set up a desk in my house, it's kind of nice and I'm getting work done. And I really do like having a shower and not having to worry about gray water. So I will adjust.

But I'm trying to think of this house as a perch, not a nest.
