Has anybody tried the higher wattage taillites being sold by a vendor?

IS the wattage ok for the wires? Do they get too hot?

If anybody knows the part numbers, I would prefer to get them locally (Canada) rather than order via the web.

Higher wattage tail tamp bulbs WILL melt your tail lamp housing, no problem with the wires. I just got done replacing a set of melted housing for a customer cauz someone put the ordinary 1156, 21 watt bulb in the tail lamp socket. If you want brighter tail lamps try the new LED ones that are coming on the market.
