The temp sensor actually sinks an amp input to ground. High readings indicate that you may have a ground circuit problem, not the sensor itself. It may be intermittent and could be caused by corroded wiring in the FI harness. Try connecting the ground side (not 5 volts) directly to ground and see if that changes things.

More likely, since you are starting OK, the lumpy idle during warm up is also due to worn injectors or carbon build up behind the valves. Any engine or inject-or in balance will show up on a cold engine also.
