I think the Barbie was actually one of those things that had been stored in
the suitcase for, say, 40 years, and completely forgotten!  And then cleared
out of her mom's apartment in an effort to reduce the clutter there.

And of course composting is generally a good thing to do!  I'm just so not
into gardening that I know I'll never use it.

It's a good thing you guys don't know this friend of mine!  I think my
annoyance, and the fact that I vented it on this list, says more about my
difficulties with re-entry into life in a house than it says about her.
