Ah.

Our early-morning-grouch noise is the brats in the adjoining campsites (and their children, as well) who think the entire world ought to wake up at 6 AM.

But if S was ever to try to run a coffee grinder, that might trump the ignoramuses in the next campsite.

One answer to the coffee issue is to go a few miles south of the border and buy some decent instant coffee. Yes, it really, truly does exist. Instant coffee is not wonderful but is at least acceptable in the UK and in Mexico. (Possibly other countries as well, but those are the two I personally can vouch for.)
