Those who are satisfied with less deserve only scorn, or if one is feeling generous, pity. > Now why is this labeled NVC? They may argue that unlike some fascinating little bit like a fan resistor or CV joint, which by virtue of being a part of the mechanism is required for the operation of that mechanism, a Vanagon will operate fine without coffee, so this thread does not pertain to Vanagons. An interesting argument, but not compelling. If a tree makes no sound when it falls in the forest with no one standing idly about to hear it, a Vanagon cannot operate at its best when the driver has had nothing but Circle-U-Tote-'m-Eleven coffee to fire up the synapses. Life is duller, grayer, one feels a pervading sense of pessimism and irritation. The Vanagon senses this. It knows, o yes it does.

Now, if there were some "silver socket" in the kitchen into which a coffee mill was meant to be plugged then I would never have put the "NVC" disclaimer in the header.
