Have both a VISA and MasterCard and keep them apart, one with you, one hidden in the van. Some hidden cash, some hidden T-cheques. : be wary of strangers who want to 'help' without being asked. : Lots of money. You'll spend euros and pounds like you spend dollars. : most detailed Michelin BOOK of maps you can buy for each country : Gray water container (simple collapsable 5 liter jug). : small parts that you can install yourself. Big items that break can be ordered FedEx. : consider a transformer to 110 volts OR a 220 volt trickle charger AND an inverter to run your 110 volt stuff. : My wife says: strainer for salads and pasta, wisk broom for cleaning the van.
