RE: Headlight mounts/adjusters Joy, good pictures here http://www.gowesty.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=gw&Category_Code=vp-e-lighting and here http://www.van-cafe.com/search.do?rp=%2F%3Fpa%3Ds%26pct%3D467569955%26ct%3D1110677742 I went through this a couple of months ago when installing H4s on my '90. Based on that experience (and advice from the lists) I'd recommend a FULL set of mounts/adjusters. The old one are near impossible to remove and reuse. Not designed to be removed and brittle. Also, I had to really work to get the new adjusters installed, very stiff fit. Maybe someone on the lists has advice on easy install, not obvious to me. I found good info on doing the alignment here: http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html I used those instructions and some masking tape on a wall, worked well and I got good alignment first try. One hint. If possible put some weight equal to the driver into the van when doing the adjusting. I didn't and am a little lower than I would like. Or find a shop that can do the alignment. |
