Chris,

You prol'ly know this, but Loctite comes in different grades of Locking Tight. There is one grade to lock a screw so it won't back out, but it's strength is designed to allow the lock to be broken with a good hard turn with a handheld screwdriver. It's a lot like the old Brylcream advertisement's use to say - "A little dab'l do ya".
