I'd go (from Nevada), it's very close and easy.  That place is not exactly
the nicest camping environment I can think of, but I can't think of another
central place that could handle a huge number of people off the top of my
head.  How about doing it on a non-Bugarama day, and invite vendors to help
defray the costs?  Hey, could even have bus and vanagon drag races (hah
hah!)
