What you are describing is excessive negative camber. You may see this if the van is heavilly loaded on that side. Assuming that the van is empty, you should have the van aligned. If you are seeing wear only on the inside edge of the tire, this is an indication of too much negative camber.

If I remember correctly the spec is -0.67 min. 0.00 maximum.

Just a side note - I had H&R springs on my Westy for a while and while they were fitted the alignment shop could never get the rear alignment within spec.
