the plastic cover simply pops off the base exposing the single phillips screw.. use a wide flathead screwdriver and carefully pry the plastic cover off. cant get any more basic than that :<)

ps, dont tell me your tried to pry the "center cap" out.. LOL that little round cap is not a cap..its just for looks.. you have to pry the cover at the edges.. chris
