Subject: power locks: + mode,
              - mode or vacuum?? wireless entry system install
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

installing a wireless entry system for my wife's carat. it was about 30$ on ebay.

the styem will work with a + or - mode system. Keep me from actually having to use my electrical troubleshooting skills and somebody tell me about the power lock system.

A + system applies 12V through the switch to lock/unlock the doors

A - system allies ground through the switch to lock/ublock the doors

Then there is the vacuum system which is totalyl different.

anybody got first hand exprience here? The weather is no good for working on the busses, so would rather do arm-chair research than actually wrench.

Thanks Matthew
