Yep, I guessed ground because of my other ground-related issues. I can certainly let it fail - I prefer to do it clean though. I was thinking of tryng to convince the inspector that it was a safety feature of the Vanagon. Seems a stretch... Sam, I'm but a couple of clicks from you. Don't recommend D&J - we have had that discussion. I think I found a guy next door to my office that I think I have prepped appropriately to give my 16 year old RV a sympathetic inspection. He is Ridgeback Automotive on Sisson St. I was disappointed that Desmond doesn't do state inspections as I thought if anyone could appreciate the esoteric charm of a 16 year old Vanagon, he would. The car passed inspection in NC in February so I was hoping for few issues to fail it on. Thanks for the words, mordo
