My fluorescent light in my westfalia weekender stopped working. The interior light over the driver's door still work, since I believe that they are fused together, I am suspect of the unit. I put a new bulb in with no chance, but the new bulb does has sound like something is loose inside, so perhaps it is no good either. I tried checking the voltage at the bulb holder(s), but I am not getting a reading. since the switch is hard wired in, is there a good way to check that I am getting power to this unit? Any other ideas? When the orignial bulb failed to light, I pushed the switch several times. Later the unit felt very hot - perhaps an indicator of one of the electrical components. I can't check power at the switch (easliy) because it is hard wired in. John 86 Wolfsburg Westy Weekender |
