Subject: carpet mat feedback here
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I bought the carpet mat said to be oem for the vanagon, color choice was gray

Here is some feedback PLUS SIDE 1. fit is excellent 2. side edging is excellent 3. secure position (not sliding), strikes me as excellent 4. comfort level, good or excellent

NOT PLUS SIDE 1. VW logo has a cheap looking white batting or stitching ... like you might see on the underside of baseball caps 2. color of gray is on the light side, a notch lighter than my stock carpet.. cant imagine it staying clean... so i really should have stuck with black... for now its a real clean addition.. but thats cause the orginal aint so new looking (though it was recently cleaned by Chem Dry)

BTW, the Chem Dry cleaner used water... I thought they were supposed to waterless...

eventually I'll get charcoal sewfine carpet with black carpet mats, question is, same as above matts, or lloyds....?
