Hi,

maybe some new bushings squeak, maybe some do not (for one data point mine experience is no squeaking with new). My point in an earlier post is that if your van has a lot of miles on it (and most do now), and you haven't changed the bushings, and they are now squeaking then maybe replacing them is better than looking for anti-squeak solutions?

It would be well and good to replace worn bushings but by some accounts, new bushings squeak just the same. Perhaps the geometry involved puts stresses on teh bushings that naturally make it squeak?
