I am still fiddling/practicing with the lighter I have from my spare parts supply before attacking the original in the dash of V'gon. Even with the thing in my hand it is hard to get the hard plastic tabs in the green sleeve to let go of the metal cylinder ... and bulb holder did not pop off as advertised -- it **broke** off.

Someone on the Samba list mentioned a Special Tool for removing lighters. I was guessing there must be such a thing. Anyone ever tried one? Have one to loan? Know where to purchase?

Also, does anyone sell the green plastic sleeves?

And finally, is there a definitive, idiot-proof explanation of how to remove the thing in the archives? I printed up "Lighter Removal 101," but is really not that helpful, although I guess if you read "the **two** rectangular slots" instead of "the rectangular slot," it is accurate.

Thanks for any help,

Woody
