My coolant light began blinking last night in earnest. Of course I turned off the van when it happened, which happened to be at home, and forgot about it until I went to run errands midafternoon. Cursing, I filled up the two reservoirs a few times until it was full and drove the ten minutes downtown. Horror, what was now water leaked at every stop, just to the passenger side of center. I kept adding water. I made an appointment with one mechanic, and called the shop that rebuilt it, reaching them when I again reached home. They said to bring it by if I could make it that far (two hours).

Since that moment, it hasn't leaked - I was all prepared to chase down this big leak. What happened?

It was still hot when I parked...nothing seemed to have changed. And when it was cold, no leak....

Thanks,

Andree
