I was thinking about the same thing a year ago when I noticed some epoxy on the OG 57 Beetle tank bottom, ground it off and found it was like Swiss cheese . I took it to a local radiator shop, they dipped the tank, cut out the bad section welded up with new metal then coated the inside. I then painted it . Then I started thinking about the Vanagon tank...notice thinking/not doing :) Chris- so let us know what you find.. how much additional fuel it would hold and how much $$$ Lloyd in -- Original Message ----- red From: "Frank Condelli" <RAlanen@AOL.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 3:04 AM Subject: Re: re-shaping vanagon gas tank for more capacity (Re: Reason for Saddl
