I am finally moving back home. After fifteen years of moving around the country I will be making my way from San Diego to Olympia, WA on or around November 1st. This time I made a deal with my self to only bring what fits in or on my syncro and tow a u-haul trailer. In preperation for this move I have ordered the famous Hanyes hitch and wired my van for a trailer. I would like to ask the list for any tips or useful advice when it comes to towing a 5"x8" trailer.

like this http://www.uhaul.com/guide/index.aspx?equipment=trailer-5x8

I'm not in any hurry so going slow is not a problem. Of course the engine and brakes are in good working order and I will have some spare coolant and oil, ect. In fact this may be the only trip I have ever taken in my van where I am 100% sure I didn't forget anything. Only because everything I own will be with me!

I hope my heater still works. It didn't get much use the last few years.
