Subject: removing cigarette lighter redux
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I am once again trying to remove the cigarette lighter from the dash of my 83.5 V'gon

Without breaking anything this time. Those on the list who've succeeded in the past say the little lamp holder "snaps off." How? Does it slide along the axis of the cylinder one way or the other first? Do you need to use a screwdriver to pry it off? When I try simply to lift it off from one side or the other between thumb and index it does not budge and I am afraid I'll break the plastic tabs on the green part, as I did with my spare. Please answer directly. I do not see to be receiving list traffic today for some reason.

Woody
