When I moved from Hawaii to Maine I arranged for a 40' container to be dropped off in front of my house where I packed it full (they had 20' containers, too). Then it was picked up and shipped to California where it went to Massachusetts by train then trucked from there to my new place. It was MUCH MUCH cheaper than shipping the same amount of stuff via a moving company. Mike |
