Naah, I didn't know diddly squat about washing machine screened hoo-dads or
the diameter of garden hoses before I went on the road either! :-)
On the other hand, I'll admit that after a year and a half as a renter, and
two and a half years on the road, being a responsible home-owner is a Royal
P.I.T.A.!!! Not to mention a Very Expensive P.I.T.A.! I can't decide which
is the worst, dealing with home repair people, dealing with car mechanics,
or dealing with doctors. They are all expensive, they nickel and dime you
to death, they can't be bothered stooping to your level of knowledge to
explain what really needs to be done or why, etc. etc.
Well, okay, I know doctors are the worst. Money can solve all the other
problems. May we all deal only with car mechanics and contractors and never
with doctors!
