I was at a meeting of the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association today, wandering through the tents displaying bottled deer scent and pedal-powered kayaks and such. In the Coleman tent I saw a new item that caught my eye because of recent posts, so I went over to check it out. The oven doesn't collapse, it's the size of a small charcoal grill, all brushed stainless steel. It operates off of a propane bottle, so doesn't need a separate stove. The thermometer goes to 500, looks big enough to bake a cake or a couple loaves of bread in. Says it takes a standard 13 x 9 baking pan, burns for 3.5 hours on high on a bottle. <http://www.coleman.com/coleman/colemancom/detail.asp?product_id=9927- A50&categoryid=2210> Jim |
