Another good one to look for is the mud flaps for a Golf III. <http://tinyurl.com/r3wxy> Shorter, made of rigid plastic in a stiffer configuration, fit the curve of the wheel well very nicely. Definitely keep that mucky spray of grubby schmutz from forming on the sides. Not sure if they were ever fitted on North America Golf 3's.
