Nice idea as long as they do not find out that you shot out their light. Up here the guy in the next campsite usually has a much bigger gun and would be inclined to shoot back.

We were camped out on the Exit Glacier flood plain outside of Seward, AK over the July 4th holiday and awoke Sunday morning to the sound of gunfire at 7am. Not much, just a few rounds then all was quiet. Later we found out that one of the rounds had struck a guy sleeping in his tent, he lived but his spleen(I think) did not.
