Do these seals fill the gap between the front edge of the door and the front end?  Do they make a noticeable difference in wind noise?  I have been contemplating finding a flat rubber extrusion and bonding it to the front inside edge of the door.  It would seal against the front end when the door is closed.  I'm assuming this would mess up the 'flow thru' ventilation on my '86.  However, I can't say I really notice much difference if the flow thru vent on the back door is opened or closed anyway.  What is the disadvantage?
