I only have a cherry picker, 2 ramps and a floor jack, and I was able to remove the engine in my van with no trouble. While the engine and transmission were still bolted solid to the van, I removed the 4 bolts holding them together. Then, I used the cherry picker to hold the engine while I removed the 4 bolts holding the crossmember onto the van chassis. After that, I slowly lowered the engine/transmission until I had some wiggle room for the engine, put the floor jack under the transmission to support it a bit, and then wiggled the engine off the transmission. I then dropped the engine onto a plastic sled (winter style) and put the rear of the van on the ramps. The entire engine pulled out under the rear bumper. :) Hope that helps some, Sudhir
