Here are a couple of things that we find useful on every trip:

1. Small folding wood table - can be used inside or outside. Found a good one at a garage sale for $3 - they're about the size of an old tv table. Folds flat either in the back section under the mattress or under the seat. 2. Small folding metal stool - Wal Mart for about $5. You can either use it for getting into the top bunk easier or for an extra seat inside or outside the van. Small round, padded seat. 3. An eggcrate mattress pad which I have covered in a couple of old sheets like a pillow case. Makes the bed a little softer and more comfortable. Folds up during the day onto the back mattress. Also have one for the top mattress, which stays up there.
