Sounds just like a box I have, only I didn't have to build mine. Got a good hinged lid, sturdy carrying handles. Mine sits aft of the driver's seat, though I could move it if I want - but it's good for helping climb up into the top, and can double as a seat. Holds lots of non-refrigerated foods. If I want to put refrigerated foods in it, I can, though, 'cause it's insulated, too. Just have to add a block of ice.

Mine's called a cooler!
