You should idle the engine a bit before shutting down. That would be the time to raise the windows. Somewhere in the literature - Bentley, Owners Manual, somewhere, I have read instructions to do just that.......idle the engine before shutdown. It allows temperatures to even out and cool off just a bit. Allows circulating fluids to stabilize as well.
