Thanks, TJHannink for your quick reply to my post. 1) The magnet, I imagine needs to go on the axle as close to the differential as possible to prevent as much up and down movement as possible. Any good fastening points for the sensor bracket? 2) I understand the wires are not long enough to reach the dashboard. Do you just splice wires to the ones that need lengthening or would a nice plug set up be more appropriate? 3) There is an empty space under the hazard lights switch. This looks like a good spot for the control switch. 4) I took out the rear underseat heater a long time ago, I believe someone used those wires for the cruise control rather than pulling new wires to the front. Is this a good plan? I'm sure I'll have questions as I'm doing the installation, but for now it looks doable for me. By the way, I just signed up for the Wolfsburg_Campers Yahoo!Group, so if you have pictures there, I'll see them. Thanks, again Ed Wiebe 1990 Westfalia ______________________________________________________________________
My earthlink website and the photos it linked to are no more. I'll try and get some new photos and post them on the web. Anything in particular that you would like to see? A copy of the cruise control installation write-up is in the files section of the Wolfsburg_Campers Yahoo!Group.
