There are products available for refinishing plastic that are more like dyes
rather than a film-forming paint. I have recently used a Bondo product that
dyes rubber and plastic a very jet black. I believe spray can versions are
also available.qq

I will try this - was going to look for replacements
at the wrecking yard.
Is there any alternative to replacing my graying
mirrors? I assume being plastic and having a larger
surface area complicates the painting option?
