I like a light-colored vinyl floor... just because so much of our camping is desert or beach and vinyl sweeps clean. Dead easy to replace using an inexpensive remnant... just lay the old one down as a pattern & cut. Vinyl flooring is thin enough to tuck under the rear seat bottom, I used wood strips painted to match the interior brown trim along the 'fridge side and front edge and of course the door side is secured under that steel strip. Original carpet is still in place... don't know that it has ever been stepped on.
