Just a year ago, I dropped the tank on my '88 Westy and did the whole re-seal thing, including the big donut seal where the filler tube enters the tank. All was well until just last week when I filled up, and much to my disappointment, gas was gushing from around the seal. Yes, it was the correct seal, from one of the list vendors, but maybe some old stock? Has anyone replaced just this seal without dropping the tank??
