Geez, this was like twenty years ago in Knoxville... my buddy made the
deal(s) for the booth at this skeezy, disreputable looking shop 'where he
knew a guy...' Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even have insurance.
Later after school after school he made his living flowing paint and his
boss would let him use his shop now and again- he knew my friend was doing
work for people that couldn't afford the shop anyway.
The Navy base here has a booth for rent at their automotive center but you
have to have military privileges (or hook up with somebody that has 'em) to
use the place.
