Really picky detail - that campground is actually between the railroad tracks and the Potomac, not the Shenandoah!

October is a delightful time to be there, too, if it's not pouring. Which of course it was, but it was still good.

A terrific place for those who like trains, :::and overall a lot more suitable and affordable than the KOA we used :::from 2002-2005.
