Subject: Ticked Off at oil filter adaptors

You Know, everytime I see these sandwich plates I get really steamed. If one is simple adding pressure or temperature senders then I don't mind, but if innocent people are adding oil coolers as the companies suggest these adaptors are designed for then I get really ticked off. The design always seems to push the oil through the cooler first before reaching the filter and that's just bad science, period. I wish they would design a thermostatically controlled sandwich adaptor that allows oil to flow through the filter before going to the cooler then back to the engine. The best way is to use adaptors that allow a remote oil filter system.
